Danny, (James Young), the probation case is a troubled kid with real culinary promise and if he can last the pace with head chef Nick (Edie Izzard), he'll be en route to a career other than crime. To make matters even worse, George's salacious wife Grace is offering tempting hors d'oeuvres on a plate for Danny and he's thinking about a nibble. The head chef Nick is an authoritarian kitchen-commandant - a former hotshot whose star is now truly on the wane though he'll go down swinging and trading on the name.
